We are called every day to pray without ceasing and to rejoice before our God (1 Thess. 5:16-18). FaithTree had planned a Spring Prayer Walk to pray for our community in that spirit that had to be canceled last month due to the situation around the coronavirus. However, in partnership with our sponsoring churches, other wonderful area churches and individuals throughout the community, we are going to have an online prayer walk today, May 14! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
FaithTree is of the local church and for the local church. What do we mean by that? We want to strengthen our local churches' ability to show the love of Jesus to those in our community. We also believe that an important part of the Christian life is being committed to mutual encouragement with other believers in a local church and aim to see FaithTree help each person who comes and does not have a local church family to find one.
We'd love to have you connect with us to chat about Little Hills, follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter! Here's how.
We are called every day to pray on all occasions and to constantly pray for God217;s people (Ephesians 6:18). This Spring, more than 600 people from all over responded to the call to gather and pray at the FaithTree Spring Online Prayer Walk that we participated in alongside FaithTree217;s other sponsoring churches. It was an incredible, encouraging day that we know the Lord used in powerful ways and one we are eager to repeat. Let217;s join together to pray in Jesus217;s name once again at our second Online Prayer Walk today, August 20! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
